AI Photo Booth for Corporate Events and Brand Activations
An AI photo booth turns a guest's photo into branded, personalized content in about ten seconds. Not a filter on a selfie — a generated image built from your campaign's visual direction, ready to share before the guest walks away.
PONS.ai has run these activations since 2021 for Maersk, HSBC, KPMG, AIA, foodpanda, Starbucks APAC, JCDecaux, Sandbox VR, LONGINES IJC, CR7 LIFE Museum and AWS TechFest — across Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK, the US, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
What an AI photo booth actually does
Three things happen in one guest interaction, which is why the format outperforms a traditional booth on every metric event teams care about:
1. It draws people in. The output is unpredictable and personal, so guests stop.
2. It personalizes. Every image is generated for that guest, not stamped from a template.
3. It produces a reusable asset. Marketing gets branded content it can run in recaps, social, follow-up email and next year's pitch deck.
A traditional booth captures attendance. An AI photo booth creates content.
How it works
Step — What happens — Guest time
1. Capture — Guest steps in, one prompt, one photo — ~5s
2. Generate — Our pipeline renders the branded output — ~30s
3. Deliver — QR to phone, print, or both — ~10s
4. Share — Guest posts to LinkedIn, IG, X, TikTok, WeChat, RedNote — after
Generation speed is the number that decides whether the activation works. If the render is slow, the queue becomes the story. We build the whole flow around throughput first.
Built for brand control
The failure mode of generative AI at a brand event is output that looks like it came from a stock template library. Every visual rule is locked before the doors open:
- Campaign colour, mood, wardrobe and setting defined with your creative team
- 2–4 curated looks, not an open prompt box — fewer choices keeps the queue moving
- Brand-safety rules applied to every render before it reaches the guest
- Output sized for the channels you intend to run it on
Where it fits
- Corporate events and conferences — high throughput, senior audience, professional output
- Product launches — put guests inside the product's world
- Retail and mall activations — offline footfall converted into digital reach
- Trade shows and exhibitions — lead capture built into the flow
- Internal and employee events — participation, not presentation
- Museums and cultural venues — repeat visitation and shareable UGC
Proof
- AWS TechFest Hong Kong — enterprise developer audience at conference-floor pace
- HSBC, KPMG, AIA — financial services, where brand-safety tolerance is lowest
- CR7 LIFE Museum — visitor attraction, shareable UGC at scale

Frequently asked questions
How fast is each photo? Around ten seconds from capture to finished output. The full guest journey, including delivery, is designed to stay under about thirty seconds so the queue keeps moving.
Will the output actually look like our brand? Yes. The visual direction is agreed with your creative team before the event and locked, so every render sits inside your campaign's world rather than a generic AI style.
How many guests can it handle? That depends on the floor plan, the number of stations and the delivery method. Tell us expected footfall and peak windows — keynote breaks and lunch — and we size the setup to it.
Is it suitable for a conservative or regulated brand? It is what we run for HSBC, KPMG and AIA. Brand-safety rules are applied to every render, and the creative direction can be as restrained as the brand requires.
Do we get the images afterwards? Yes. The generated content is yours to reuse in recap videos, social, internal comms and sales material. That reuse is usually where most of the value ends up.
